Introduction
Following the success of the first MISP challenge we are pleased to announce the second MISP challenge. The challenge considers the problem of audio-visual distant multi-microphone signal processing in everyday home environments. Both audio and video data are collected in a home TV scenario, where several people are chatting while watching TV in the living room, and they can interact with a smart speaker/TV.
MISP Challenge 2022 features two tracks:
- Audio-Visual Speaker Diarization
- Audio-Visual Diarization and Recognition
Participants are able to submit to either one track or both.

- March 7th, 2023: ICASSP 2023 SPGC 2-page paper acceptance notification
- March 14th, 2023: ICASSP 2023 SPGC camera-ready 2-page papers due
- August 9th, 2023: ICASSP 2023 SPGC OJ-SP papers due
